Dagupan City – Home Development Mutual Fund, more known as Pag-IBIG fund, now accepts calamity loan applications from members residing in the city, which was proclaimed under state of calamity on August 17.
On August 17, Dagupan City was announced under a state of calamity due to the damages of the flood caused by habagat or monsoon rains.
The calamity loan program is a part of the government’s extended efforts and assistance to Dagupeños who were affected by the damages brought by the weather disturbance.
Ramos said that active members can loan as much as 80 percent of their total savings with an interest rate of 5.95 percent annually, payable in two years.
To apply for the loan, Ramos said that qualified applicants should submit a duly-accomplished calamity loan application form and a photocopy of two valid IDs to be submitted to their fund coordinators.
