Shooting incident transpired around 3:25 PM on September 21, 2016 in Brgy. Inoman, Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.
The victim was identified as Glen Estayo, a 34-year old resident of Brgy. Inoman, Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.
According to the initial investigation disclosed after the incident, Estayo was shot in the different parts of his body by unidentified persons who allegedly boarded a black starex van without a plate number.
Afterwards, the victim was brought to Pozorrubio Community Hospital by the responding officers for medical treatment but was pronounced dead on arrival (DOA) by the attending physician.
Meanwhile, suspects fled towards the best direction boarded the said van, bringing with them the firearm used in the crime.
In an investigation carried out by the Scene of the Crime Operative (SOCO), they were able to recover from the crime scene twelve fired cartridges of caliber 5.56 armalite rifle, five fired cartridge cases of caliber 45 pistol, two fired cartridge cases of caliber 9mm pistol and two fired bullet of caliber 5.56 armalite.
The body of the victim now lies at Padilla Funeral Homes, Brgy. Talogtog, Pozorrubio, Pangasinan.
Meanwhile, the investigation is still on going and motive of incident is still unknown.
