Spotify is giving subscribers a new feature to indulge music: Release Radar.
The company launched the new feature under the app’s Discover section. Release Radar is an updated playlist that will drizzle the listeners with two hours of the newest releases from the artists they follow. The list is updated every Friday based on the current songs the user listens to.
Spotify has become the go-to app since they launched the Discover Weekly feature which garnered over 40 million users and 5 billion song plays. Now, with Release Radar, the company aims to top the competition as some of the digital music streaming services offer a variety of features.
According to Matt Ogle, the Senior Product Owner of Spotify, the company wants the users to discover music in the simplest way.
So if you enjoyed the Discover Weekly playlist, you’ll like the Release Radar that can be easily found under the “New Releases for You” section.
